is an independently owned private company, trading as Manufacturers’ Agents and Distributors for over 40 years. We specialise in the sales, marketing & distribution of specialty plumbing, hardware, waterproofing, industrial, safety, and automotive products, suitable for the construction, mining, health, education, and agriculture sectors in Northern Queensland.
The company services retail and trade focused outlets that operate within the hardware, plumbing, engineering, agricultural, mining and automotive supply industries. Our representatives liaise with design, construction and consultancy companies, as well as councils and government authorities where necessary. The company also provides export sales services through the Pacific Islands.

N.B. Agencies (QLD) Pty Ltd operates from two facilities in Townsville, which is the gateway to North, Central and Western Queensland, and the centre for road, rail, air and sea transportation. We provide high level distribution services across North Queensland via a network of trusted local carriers, and manage Townsville region freight with our own delivery vehicles. Our modern purpose-built showroom provides our manufacturing partners with product display opportunities and allows us to carry out training and product information sessions to promote their products to the relevant people in the industry. With 40 years’ experience servicing the industry, we are the link between manufacturers & importers, and the resellers in North Qld.
LOCALLY STOCKED PRODUCT
Having product stocked in North Queensland is proven to increase sales and lower express freight costs. N.B. Agencies (QLD) Pty Ltd warehouse all manner of stock holdings on behalf of our manufacturing & trading partners. The company employs fulltime warehouse and administration staff to manage the daily distribution of our products through North Queensland. We strive to continually provide the highest levels of service and handle our manufacturers products with a high degree of efficiency and accuracy. We exceed the high standards demanded by the premium brands that we represent, providing same day despatch on over 95% of orders received.
LOCAL PEOPLE
Our local team provide efficient full branch services for our manufacturing partners and suppliers, managing everything from order processing and despatch, to aftersales, warranty & claim management. Our external sales provide full frontline services and customer relationship management, backed up by consistent and reliable monthly call cycles. Our team are extensively trained in all systems that our trading partners and suppliers utilise, allowing us to work highly effectively as a remote branch of their businesses, not an independent distributor.
